- Our Client, a privately owned manufacturer and marketer of a diverse line of building materials and specialty products that include lumber, hardwood and softwood plywood located in Oregon, is looking for a Power Plant Superintendent to:
- Maintain best in class performance in plant safety, availability, reliability, maintenance, environmental compliance, and cost.
- Responsible for 3-100% Biomass Fuel Stationary Grate Boilers that total 550,000 lbs/hr of steam capacity and 5 Steam Turbine Generators that total 40 MVW capacity.
- Guide operational staff of 21 by leading, coaching, creating, fostering open dialogue, and inspiring trust.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to facilitate acitivies and meet operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have a BS Technical Degree, experience with wood fired boilers and steam turbine engines, PLC Control troubleshooting experience, project management experience, and experience training and mentoring direct reports.
